Sheryl's BreastFest, Inc. is honored to announce our 2024 Music Festival & Cancer Benefit Recipient, Kate Spring.
Kathryn (Kate) Spring is a 47-year-old, single, Lakeland teacher with stage 3b rectal cancer. She was diagnosed late last spring. She started infusion chemotherapy in June of 2023, radiation, and oral chemo pills through November, and was prepared for surgery in February, but more disease complications have delayed that.
Kate bought her first house in 2020 and now is trying to maintain work, bills, treatment, and recovery. She will ultimately need months to recover from surgery once they are able to do it.
Please plan to spend May 11, 2024, helping us to support Kate and her battle. It promises to be a day of music, fun, and fellowship with auction items, raffles, food trucks, kid’s activities and more.
