Sheryl’s BreastFest is a Polk County-based nonprofit organization founded after Sheryl’s own breast cancer journey in 2016, with one simple mission:

To help individuals and families facing ALL types of cancer through direct community support.

Each year, we host our annual music festival and cancer benefit fundraiser in Lakeland, Florida to raise funds that go directly to a local cancer patient or family. Your donation helps ease the financial and emotional burdens that come with treatment and recovery.

Our Annual Music Festival & Cancer Benefit

What began as one survivor’s desire to give back has grown into a powerful, once-a-year music festival and cancer benefit built on compassion, community, and hope.

On May 9, 2026, we will celebrate the 11th Annual Sheryl’s BreastFest Music Festival & Cancer Benefit, bringing together more than 600 supporters, volunteers, and partners for a full day of music and meaningful impact. From 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, our festival features:

🎶 12 live bands across two stages
🎁 Raffles, silent auctions & live auction
🎯 Games of chance & interactive activities
👕 BreastFest merchandise & t-shirt sales
🚚 Food trucks & vendors who give back a portion of their sales
💗 Musicians who donate their time and talent

Every dollar raised during this event — and throughout the year — goes toward supporting a local cancer patient or family in need.

How Our Beneficiary Is Chosen

Each year, Sheryl’s BreastFest opens a Nominee Application to the community. Through this process, we carefully select one individual or family facing cancer to become our annual beneficiary.

After our festival concludes, we proudly present our fundraising check to the 2026 recipient, ensuring the funds go directly where they are needed most.

This model allows your donation to create real, immediate impact in the life of a local cancer warrior and their family.

Every Dollar Makes a Difference

As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Polk County, Florida:

✔ In most cases, 90% of proceeds directly benefit the selected annual recipient
✔ Donations made specifically in honor of or on behalf of our current beneficiary are directed 100% to that individual or family
✔ Funds help cover everyday needs such as medical-related expenses, transportation to treatment, groceries, and essential living costs
