In August 2020, life was starting to get somewhat back to normal after the Covid shutdowns. Kim Birmingham was staying busy with her son’s scout troop, visiting Disney, planning a future family vacation, and preparing her classroom to start back to school. Her plans quickly changed when she was diagnosed with aggressive triple negative breast cancer. So far she's had an initial surgery and eight rounds of chemo. Still ahead is radiation, possible additional treatments, and more surgery. It's been tough, with many setbacks, but she remains positive and looks forward future family adventures. You might guess she loves Disney!
